Hilary's new logo

I happen to like her new logo design. it's throwing a bit of "shade" at president Obama. i think of it like beyonces song irreplaceable. "to the left to the left" Obama is leaving....exit stage left. with her arrow pointing to the right i think its emphasizing that the country will finally be going in the right direction. I don't think its portraying that she's switching republican or anything of the sort, its just very simple. if she really has what it takes ti be elected, she does not need flash and razzmatazz.

what convicts can teach us

this article was very informative. its teaches us the art of branding and its true. if we go to the supermarket we are more likely to spend an extra 3 dollars for the box of Kellogg's cereal rather than 3 dollars less for the store brands sugar coated flakes. i do not think what he did was entirely unlawful though. i mean he only changed the packaging, most people on copyright the name and design but not the contents. im pretty sure if from my previous example you were too look at the ingredients for both packages of the sugary corn flakes the ingredients are the same. his acts also teach us that it almost always does not matter what the product is just as long as it looks appealing to the buyer.

Montygog

The interview with montygog was pretty cool. I like the fact that his inspiration was some of the greatest artists of all time, especially like that he is inspired by Andy Warhol.His designs are pretty realistic, meaning that they aren't overly complicated and intimidating. He basically started out like a bunch of us did with just doodling then pursuing it further with a formal education.
